PCG delivered workplace strategy and project management services for McGrathNicol's Sydney office, creating a sophisticated professional services workplace tailored to the needs of staff and clients. The project balanced functionality, collaboration and brand identity while supporting future business growth and workplace flexibility.
McGrathNicol engaged PCG to provide pre-lease due diligence, lease negotiation support, workplace strategy, interior architecture and project management services for the relocation of its Sydney office from 60 Margaret Street to levels 12 and 13 at 20 Martin Place. The objective was to create a workplace that reflected the firm's reputation for technical excellence while improving collaboration, transparency and staff connectivity within a highly flexible and contemporary work environment.
Working closely with the leadership team, PCG developed a workplace strategy focused on fostering interaction, openness and flexibility. The design leveraged the building's natural light and panoramic views while creating a strong connection between the two floors through a feature internal staircase. The workplace incorporated open-plan work settings, collaborative hubs, flexible meeting spaces with operable walls and premium client-facing environments. The design balanced functional workplace requirements with a refined aesthetic that aligned with the McGrathNicol brand and culture.
The completed workplace delivered a highly connected and agile environment that supports collaboration, flexibility and future growth. The relocation successfully positioned McGrathNicol within one of Sydney's most prestigious commercial addresses while providing staff and clients with a contemporary workplace experience. The project was delivered on schedule and achieved all key workplace objectives, creating a space that reflects the firm's values, enhances employee experience and supports the delivery of exceptional client service.
