As part of Heidelberg Materials, one of the world's largest integrated building materials companies, Hanson plays a critical role in supporting the growth and development of Australia's built environment through innovation, operational excellence and a strong commitment to safety and sustainability.
PCG delivered a new Brisbane workplace for Hanson that supported business growth, improved workplace functionality and strengthened organisational culture. The project combined workplace strategy, design and project management services to create a modern environment that enhanced collaboration, productivity and employee engagement.
Following the acquisition of Pioneer International, Hanson sought to consolidate multiple Brisbane offices into a single workplace that would support its newly integrated workforce and future business objectives. The organisation required a workplace capable of bringing together teams from different business units while creating a stronger sense of culture, collaboration and operational efficiency. PCG was engaged to provide tenant representation, workplace strategy, interior design and project management services to deliver a new Brisbane headquarters that aligned with Hanson's evolving business needs.
PCG worked closely with Hanson to develop a workplace strategy focused on unifying employees from previously separate organisations within a single cohesive environment. The design emphasised connectivity, collaboration and flexibility while reflecting Hanson's position as a leading construction materials provider. The workplace incorporated a variety of work settings, meeting spaces and collaborative zones designed to encourage interaction between teams. Through careful planning, design, and project delivery, the new workplace balanced functional operational requirements with a contemporary employee experience that supported productivity, engagement and long-term growth.
The completed Brisbane workplace successfully brought together multiple teams into a single, integrated environment that supports collaboration, efficiency and organisational alignment. The project delivered a modern and flexible workplace that strengthened Hanson's culture while providing employees with a high-quality work environment designed for future growth. By consolidating operations into one strategic location, Hanson achieved improved workplace utilisation, enhanced team connectivity and a workplace solution that reflects the scale and professionalism of one of Australia's leading building materials organisations.
