The owners of Sydney's original Doyles Restuarant Site, Yamaha Motor Australia, were seeking to breathe new life into as very old but unique landmark restaurant.

Yamaha approached PCG to investigate logistics of converting a very tired marina restaurant into one of Sydney's most chic dining venues.

A substantial challenge was presented by the building itself, however further complicated by a commercial reality of minimising the disruption to restaurant trade throughout the renovation.

With a comination of innovative design and materials coupled with very strict on and off site works supervision, PCG were able to minimise the site works to 3 weeks.

The result speaks for itself, Pier Restaurant is now one of Sydney's most well attended and appreciated venues on the sydney dining calendar.
