Fiorentino Restuarant and Bar was established at Mosman's historic Boronia House. The proprietor, Mr Bruno Giagu appointed PCG to provide Interior Design and Architectural Services.
The PCG design team stripped the interior of unnecessary embellishments and paintwork. The finished interior features the warmth and texture of the polished floorboards hidden for years under yards of broadloom and expresses the original period detailing using a minimalist colour treatment. The ground floor now consists of a series of interconnecting rooms creating a formal dining room and bar.
Externally, the objective was to create a colour scheme which would work in both daylight and artificial scheme and landscape plan for the gardens.
PCG sought the assistance of Landscans' Carolyn Tallents to provide landscaping expertise particularly relating to the heritage issues involved.
The paint scheme was an element of major interest resulting in many hours of discussion and hundreds of test panels.
PCG successfully captured the heritage intent, transforming a tired and ageing Boronia House into Mosman's most sheek and fine dining venue.
